Both bets at Goodwood on Tuesday ran into a place. A tenner each way on each one would have given you about 75 in profit. We are still just slightly below break even for the month .. its been very average again.
From the 1st of Aug we will be switching to 1pt win only bets for the profit and loss, but feel free to back them however you want.
We have cut out much of the fluff from the emails now, so I hope we can start putting money in the bank going forward.

Nottingham 14:35: Degale @ 8.0 win bet
Our speed ratings flagged a massive standout in this one : Degale.
We confidently discarded the main market danger, Theme Park. He is a hold-up horse who needs a fast, collapsing pace to chase down, but today's race is forecast to be run at a crawl, he will likely not be able to quicken fast enough to catch those in front at the business end of the race and will be running on too late.
This setup perfectly suits Degale. Course statistics at Nottingham heavily favor front-runners, and extended form notes show he runs his best races when allowed to lead. Crucially, he is taking a significant drop in class to an easier grade today. Sectional tracking data proves he has explosive early speed out of the gates, guaranteeing him an easy, uncontested lead against this field.
With jockey Connor Beasley and the Barron stable both in red-hot form over the last two weeks, Degale has everything in his favor to dictate this race from start to finish.
