Another winner for us in yesterdays newsletter

Jockey/Trainer Stats

This pick is a little out there, but stick with me.

7.30 Windsor - Pride of Nepal @ 16/1 5 places

This one has been running around on the all weather recently, the closest we have got is 4 runs ago at Lingfield when 2.8l second from a mark of 55 when held up and ran on towards the end of the race in a 1m2f class 6 (0-60)

Overall the horse is a very average 5 from 56, however none of those wins have been on the all weather tracks. Take those away and the horse is 5 from 30.

On good or good to firm ground, its 5 from 25 and in class 5 or 6 races 5 from 20.

The jockey trainer combo at this track over the last 2 years is 7 runs, 3 wins. 43%

This one should be a big price, I dont think its had the right conditions for quite some time now. 10lbs below last win with a 7lb claimer up top at a track that they combine well together at.

I think its worth a swing.

Repeat Performance

4.57 Windsor - Monsieur Patat @ 12/1 5 places (paddy)

Will have been aimed at this.
Record at Windsor over this trip reads 6 runs, 3 wins 4 places.

Won this race last year (0-70) from a mark of 59 after being held up and running on strong to the line.

Back to the track in Aug in a class 4 (top rated 79) waited for room and kept on well to win by a nk from a mark of 65.

Had one more go at the track in September from a mark of 68 and formline that day read “awkward start, mid-division on inside, going well 2f out, repeatedly short of room final furlong, kept on (unlucky)”

Gets in tomorrow from a mark of 63, top rated is 67. No reason why we should not win this. Price of 12/1 is much too big, will likely go off around half that price.

Drops In Class

6.15 Salisbury - Tanmawwy 10/1 4 places Paddy

Horse is 4/7 when competing in class 4 races. Never run at 1 mile, but majority of formlines read “staying on well” over lesser distances, so I do not think it will hurt anything, especially against this lower grade competition.

Last win from a mark of 76 at Epsom in Aug 24. Then had a couple of down the field races one in a class 3 on gd/sft and one in a class 4 on heavy ground. Ended campaign last year on AW in a class 3 0-95 at Lingfield only going down a length that day in second.

Drops into a class 4 0-80 tomorrow. SHould have a decent shot with the step up in trip and the better ground, the drop in OR and the drop in grade. Price is fair. Am taking an e/w bet in this one.
