Welcome to MarkYourCard for racing on Tuesday
Fantastic result today. The move back to Duffield paid off for us and our only selection won @ 20/1 … just. Got out in front and was closed down all the way to the line, Initially I thought we had been done on the line, but we held on.
That 20/1 certainly helps out our profit and loss for the month which now stands at 26.33 points to 1pt win level stakes.

Onto tomorrow, two bets to go at. Good luck if you play along.
Drops In Class
3.50 - Chepstow - Rating @ 5.0
Won class 6 from a mark of 62 back in May.
Had a run at Salisbury next time out, then had three runs at todays track and trip in class 5 races.
Drops back to a class 6 today now back down to 62.
Record in class 6 races is 9 runs - 2 wins - 8 places.
So is very comfortable at this level.
Upgrade in jockey to Rossa Ryan who has a 30% strike rate at this track the last couple of years.
Worth a go at the price.
Speed Figure Picks
17:52 Lingfield - Balon d'Or @ 7.0
Our initial speed ratings highlighted Balon d'Or, Peregrine Falcon, and Dashing Donkey as exceptionally well-handicapped runners. However, a deeper dive quickly narrowed the field. We discarded Peregrine Falcon due to a wide draw and lack of early tactical speed, while Dashing Donkey is dropping in trip and may lack the opening gears needed to clear the field.
This leaves Balon d'Or as our standout. Plunging into Class 6 company, he boasts a massive class advantage and loves this exact course and distance. Crucially, sectional timing data proves he has the explosive early gate speed to hold his rail position from Stall 1 and avoid getting trapped by his fast-starting neighbor, Due Date. With jockey Paddy Bradley in solid form and knowing the horse perfectly, everything aligns for a big run.
