Still avoiding Ascot, its almost impossible to know what most of these trainers are bringing to the races. I’m not sure half of them have the slightest idea themselves until the horse crosses the line just how good .. or bad the horse may be.
Leaving well alone again.
Another “soft” day for me. Just two caught the eye, and no speed rating qualifiers.

Repeat Performance
Our old friend is back .. track specialist and last time out winner / repeat performance attempt number two … for :
16:02 Hamilton - Iris Dancer @ 6.0 win bet
Track - 36 runs, 10 wins, 18 places
Over track and trip - 32, 10, 15
Over track, trip and class - 5 wins from 11 runs.
Won this race last year from a mark of 63. Last time out won over track and trip in this class of race from a mark of 58.
As I said last time, the horse tends to hit a low around 58/60 and then put together a few good runs to bring her mark up to around 70 ..
Is still on the low end of her ceiling, so could well have more to give here.
Worth another go around 6.0.

Last win came from a mark of 90 in a 0-90 at Yarmouth over 5f in soft ground. The race before that the horse won in a 0-95 from a mark of 82 at Chester over 6f again in soft ground. Since those two wins has been running mainly in class 2 events. Drops back into a class 4 here tomorrow from a mark of 84.
Last race was an Average OR of 93, tomorrow is just 76. Should be able to be much more competitive at this level, hopefully will run up with the pace and stamina will kick in towards the line.
