Welcome to MarkYourCard for racing on Monday

Sorry for the lack of updates over the last few days - real life hit me hard and racing had to take a back seat for a couple of days.

We are back now though and we have two decent chances picked out. Hopefully we will be able to get selections for Tuesday (if there are any) out to you at the usual 5pm timeslot, I will update as always on Twitter once we have run through the cards.

I had a quick look over the weekend just gone, as far as i can tell we did not miss much of any consequence that we may have backed.

Good luck if you follow along with these, I feel as though we are due a couple of winners.

Edit : about to send this out and prices have shortened a little more than I would have liked, but lets go ahead and have the bet anyway. I personally am having two singles and a double, but for tracking will only show the singles as it keeps things easier.

Speed Figure Picks

15:42 Windsor (6f) – Rebel Path@ 4.0

Our analysis began as always with the speed figures, where Rebel Path emerged as the clear target with a rating well above his official mark.

The pace and draw data instantly solidified his appeal. Windsor’s 6f track heavily favors prominent runners, and Rebel Path maps perfectly to dictate the race from a fair middle draw (Stall 7), entirely avoiding the course's low-stall bias.

We confidently discarded his main rivals based on their glaring tactical flaws. Distant Rumble’s sectional data proves he consistently blows the start by five lengths, while Kiss And Run is a pure 5f sprinter who fades badly over this longer trip.

Rebel Path’s recent Course and Distance win last week highlighted his elite energy distribution—clocking a rapid 14.23s opening furlong while still finishing fastest of all. Dropping in class, with trainer Stuart Williams currently striking at 23% and his regular rider Olivia Haines claiming 5lbs, all signs point to a repeat victory.

16:51 Thirsk - Donna Nook @ 4.0

Our speed figure analysis quickly narrowed this 1m handicap down to Donna Nook and Always Blue, but tactical mapping made the final decision straightforward.

Thirsk heavily favors prominent runners, and with a weak pace forecast, Always Blue’s hold-up style and tendency to pull hard eliminate her. We also discarded Kiss Me My Love, who lacks the gate speed to dictate and consistently fades over this trip.

Donna Nook is the clear standout. Dropping down into Class 5 company, she thrives on Good ground and ran a brilliant third over this exact course and distance just last month.

Sectional data confirms her elite tactical speed—she reliably clocks rapid opening splits (14.01s) to secure prominent positioning without burning excess late energy.

Backed by Daniel Tudhope’s 21% track strike rate and David O'Meara’s highly profitable yard, she maps perfectly to control this race.
