We have value again with tonight’s selection, at the time of writing Court Drive is now 11/4. We had taken 7.0 last night. Eventually these will start converting for us, hopefully today is the day.
I had looked at a few for today in depth, most notably On Key and Homme De Fer tomorrow night at Wolvs, but have decided against both after a review of the draw and pace setup in the race.
Tokyo Joe in the 4.05 was the other I really liked, but they opened at 6/4 in that race and I would have wanted at least 5/2 to be interested.
That leaves us with just the one again.
Drops In Class
3.48 Beverley - Kitsune Power @ 11.0 e/w 3 places
This one is more of a swing, an Easterby horse that has fallen down the weights in recent weeks. Three runs ago went close at track and trip from a mark of 59, dropped an extra couple of lbs now and comes back for another try in a much easier race. AVG or of the race on 27th May was 70. Beaten just a length into second, was running on all the way to the line and rated just 59, split horses rated 73 and 71 that day.
Tomorrow gets into this race from a mark of 57, AVG OR of this race is 57. Trainer also runs Sunny Orange in here. Go to stable jockey David Allen rides ours.
