Our analysis of this 5f sprint quickly highlighted General Assembly and La Belle Forest based on our speed figures. However, with a "Very Strong" pace forecast, La Belle Forest was discarded due to her hold-up runstyle, which historically struggles on this tight Tapeta track.
We also bypassed speed threats Midnight Call and Enter Sandman both are likely to burn each other out in an early pace duel, and Midnight Call is highly vulnerable racing at her ceiling handicap mark. Blue Force was crossed off due to his costly habit of starting slowly.
We settled firmly on General Assembly. Drawn well in stall 6, he is dropping significantly in class to race off a mark of 64. His Course and Distance form is outstanding, and sectional data proves he is a highly efficient prominent stalker (100.25% Finishing Speed Percentage) who travels smoothly off a hot pace. While his trainer is currently cold, jockey Lewis Edmunds has a solid track record here. General Assembly will hopefully track the leaders before pouncing late.
