Gold Star Hero (-0.67 Gap) also hit the radar, but he was ultimately discarded as a primary bet; Timeform data highlighted he is an All-Weather specialist who has struggled to replicate his peak synthetic form in Class 2 turf sprints. Similarly, the early pace presser Cinque Verde was opposed, as she has hit a hard ceiling since stepping up from Class 3 company.

The pace and draw data completely dictates this race. Historic course DNA shows that front-runners drawn high have a massive advantage at Ascot over 5f (Impact Value 2.84). With Gold Star Hero (Stall 8) and Cinque Verde (Stall 7) mapped to blaze a "Golden Highway" on the stands side, the race sets up perfectly for a tracker.
